PERMA Mirrors, Performanced Enhanced Replacement for Mylar Applications

DOTI has pioneered an ultra lightweight mirror product that we have named PERMA. PERMA stands for Performance Enhanced Replacement for Mylar Applications. Our mirrors employ very thin first surface mirrors, permanently bonded in a proprietary manner, to very lightweight rigid panels.

For the most common projection needs, with low reflectance angles and older projector technologies, DOTI offers a custom glass mirror assembly that can have custom placed mounting inserts in the reverse side of the mirror panel. Mirrors will be of high reflectance, enhanced aluminum with high adhesion and durability.

For medium level projection systems and simulation requirements, DOTI offers a custom ground and polished first surface mirror that is specially manufactured to remove all surface ripple, flaws and irregularities with measurement and test to MIL-SPEC levels. These PERMA backed mirrors are available with mounting inserts in the reverse side or in the edges of the mirror backing assembly. These can be manufactured large enough to replace stretched film mirrors in large simulation systems such as legacy WASP Systems. Material thickness, coatings, and attributes can be customized from 6 x 9" up to an 80+ inch diagonal.

DOTI's Premium PERMA Mirror System incorporates the best attributes from the above mirror systems. DOTI generally manufactures its Ultra Premium PERMA line of mirrors to as little as 1/10 wave surface deviation (.0000025") per inch and better.
